Depth of Leadership
Wall Connections is part of the Wall Suite of Services. Our oldest company, Wall Residences, is the largest independent provider of waiver residential services in the Commonwealth of Virginia and has been providing person-centered services for over 25 years. Our leadership team has decades of experience supporting individuals with disabilities to live the life they desire and deserve.
Person-Centered Focus
One of our core values is the value of every life. We treat others as we would want to be treated, with a focus on safety, respect, and consistency. You can count on us to show up when scheduled, drive you safely and efficiently to your destination, and to interact with kindness from start to finish. We provide transportation to non-emergency medical appointments for ambulatory individuals and persons utilizing mobility aides. We are a person-centered transportation provider.
Experienced, Compassionate Drivers
Many of our drivers are Direct Support Professionals or have worked extensively with people with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. Our drivers are hand-selected for their ability to provide a safe ride and treat each person with respect and dignity. Before a driver can be assigned transports, they undergo an extensive vetting process, which includes DMV, federal, state, and county background checks and must pass drug testing with ongoing monitoring. Drivers attend and pass training in First-Aid, CPR, Passenger and Attendant Safety and Sensitivity, spill kit and disposal, National Safety Council DDC-4 defensive driving course, and wheelchair security. All drivers must adhere to HIPPA policy. We understand and we care. Safety is our top priority but being friendly and respectful matters too!
